She completed her DNB in Ophthalmology from Gujarat and pursued a long-term fellowship in Phaco-refractive surgery and anterior segment in Mumbai. Since then, she has been working as a Consultant Ophthalmologist in Mumbai.
Dr. Ankita has an impressive surgical record, having performed over 15,000 surgeries. She is one of the youngest surgeons to have performed more than 2,500 Femto Laser Assisted Cataract and Lasik surgeries, which are bladeless robotic procedures. Additionally, she is adept at heads-up 3D cataract surgery and has extensive experience in implanting premium lenses such as multifocal, EDOF, and toric lenses.
